How to Identify MAP in Real Corporate Situations

👉 NO.

Designation ≠ Decision Power

  • Designation often creates visibility
  • MAP (Most Appropriate Person) creates decisions

meeting after meeting, mail after mail—

⏳ Result?
Time wasted. Energy drained. Trust diluted.

MAP মানে কী?

MAP মানে—

M – Man
A – Authority
P – Power

এটা Google Map নয়।
এটা হচ্ছে Business Survival Map।

🧭 Step 1: Speak later. Observe first.

“Eyes open. Ears open.Mouth closed unless & untill you are requested to speak”

  • Who is the actual decession maker in this organization.

🧠 Step 2: Follow the final YES

  • “Let me check” ❌
  • “I will get approval” ❌
  • “Management will decide” ❌
  • “Okay, proceed” ✅

Last voice before action—

  • Highly influential
  • Highly visible
  • Highly vocal

But not powerful.

আর MAP মানুষটা?

  • Quiet
  • Observing
  • Often invisible

Power likes silence.

🧩 Step 4: Watch meeting dynamics

⏳ Step 5: Follow time, not talk

Time only respects Power.

🚪 Step 6: Beware of Proxy Power

  • PA / Executive Assistant
  • Coordinator / Admin
  • Senior Executive handling calendars & files
  • Reception / Office boy / Support staff

Decision maker

This is career suicide—quietly, slowly.

Gatekeeper upset
MAP পর্যন্ত পৌঁছনো theoretically possible, practically impossible.

🔹 Respect করুন

Not because of position—
but because of influence on flow.

🔹 Use করুন (Ethically)

Use মানে exploit না।
Use

  • Clear communication
  • Advance planning
  • Appreciation
  • Reliability

🔹 Treat them as partners, not obstacles

একটা smile,
একটা “thank you”,

🧠 Step 7: Ask smart, indirect questions

“Who is the decision maker?” ❌

  • “Who should be comfortable before we proceed?”

💭 Goto-san’s philosophy

“Right effort in the wrong direction is wasted energy.”

“I came here only for a 4-year assignment.
Within this limited time,
I must build a big business.”

🎯 Final takeaway

“Am I talking to MAP…
or just traffic on the way?”

MAP clear হলে—move fast.
MAP unclear হলে—slow down.

Thank you.
This is how professionals win quietly. 👏
