My Journey from Knowing to Understanding
In India…Who doesn’t know the stories of Ramayana?
Almost everybody… correct?
But Mahabharata
…is vast.
So vast… that only a few people…
…can remember every character… every incident.every story….(without books,notes)
And I was one of them.
Till 2001…
I believed…
I knew & can remember everything.
Every story… every character…every incidents of Mahabharata.
I believed… I had knowledge & self confidence.
But the truth?
I had… overconfidence.
2001…
When I entered B.E. College, Shibpur Campus…
…life introduced me… to reality.
I met various people…
My seniors… my batchmates…my juniors”
Super talented BEings.
They didn’t just know things…
They had digested them.
They carried knowledge… in their heart.
And the way they used it…
…it shook me.
👉 First-Year Welcome Day Memories
It was our first-year welcome day…
During the initial interaction…
The way my seniors used our old Indian mythological stories… events…
…it mesmerized me.
It was so powerful…
That even today…
If I close my eyes…
And try to remember that day…
It appears… right in front of me.
For the first time…
I experienced something extraordinary.
Our college’s most powerful creation…
“Mahayan.”
A beautiful fusion…
Of Ramayana… and Mahabharata…
Mixed together…
With pure innovation poured into it.
And the way they used it…
…it shook me.
I felt… out of this world.
Turning Point
That day I realized—
Knowledge… is not the destination.
It is just the beginning.
Whatever you are doing…
It is NOT restricted to knowing…
It is FAR… beyond that.
You have to reach the next level…
Where you don’t just understand a concept…
But you internalize it.
From mind… to heart.
And then only…
You can create something new,extraordinary… from that idea.
That is the real game.
Today’s world…
…is NOT for knowing.
Because today—AI knows everything.
So if you are only depending on knowledge…
You are already replaceable.
You need to move…
From KNOWING…to DOING…
To BECOMING…A MASTER.
When you can do something… effortlessly…
When you can create… without fear…
When you can produce results… consistently…
…not by pressure… but by choice.
That’s when you truly achieve something.
So today I ask you…
Are you just collecting knowledge?
Or…
Are you becoming a master?
Because the future…
belongs not to those who know…
But to those… who can turn knowledge… into results.on demand.
