🎬 Title: Don’t Assume – Believe in Your Own Eyes! 🌭

Friends, sometimes we let other people’s fears become our reality.
We stop believing what we see and start reacting to what we hear.

That’s where the danger begins —
because when we Ass-U-Me,
👉 Ass means donkey 🫏
👉 U means you
👉 Me means me 😄
So when we assume, we make a donkey out of you and me!

Today’s story is a simple but powerful one —
about a man who sold hot dogs by the roadside…
and how one small assumption ruined his success.

🎬 THE STORY

Once upon a time, there lived a man in a small town.
He was an honest, hardworking man who sold hot dogs by the roadside. 🌭

He was illiterate — he couldn’t read newspapers.
He was hard of hearing — so he never listened to the radio.
And his eyesight was weak — so he didn’t watch TV either.

But he had something more important — enthusiasm!
He believed in his work, smiled at his customers,
and served hot, delicious hot dogs every single day.

People loved his food! 😋
His business grew fast.
He bought a bigger stove, ordered more meat and buns,
and was earning more money than ever before.

Everything was going great…
until one day, his son returned home after completing college. 🎓

The son looked around and said,

“Dad, what are you doing? Don’t you know there’s a big recession coming?”

The father looked confused.

“Recession? What’s that, son?”

The son replied seriously,

“Dad, the international economy is going down.
Prices are rising. Businesses are failing.
You should be careful — bad days are coming!”

The father thought — My son has gone to college, he reads the newspaper, he knows the world better than me.
So, maybe he’s right!

Next day, the father cut down his orders of meat and buns.
He removed his big signboard.
He stopped calling out to customers with excitement.
Slowly, his smile faded… and so did his business.

Day by day, fewer people came.
Sales dropped. Profits vanished.

Finally, one day, the father looked at his son and said,

“Son, you were right. We are in a recession.
I’m glad you warned me ahead of time.”

But what really happened? 🤔
There was no real recession —
only an assumed one.

The son’s assumption — based on what he heard —
became the father’s reality.

🎯 THE LESSON — THE DANGER OF “ASSUME”

Friends, this story teaches a simple but deep truth —

Never assume what others believe.
Always check the facts yourself.

The father was doing well.
His customers were happy.
There was no problem at all — until he started believing someone else’s fear.

👉 That’s the power of assumption.
It can turn a growing business into failure,
and confidence into confusion.

So remember — when you Ass-U-Me,
you make a donkey 🫏 out of you and me! 😄

KEY TAKEAWAYS

1️⃣ Don’t believe everything you hear.
Always trust your own experience and data.

2️⃣ Stay positive even when others panic.
Fear spreads faster than truth.

3️⃣ Success comes from confidence, not assumption.
Your faith in your work matters more than others’ opinions.

4️⃣ Be realistic, not reactive.
Think before you cut down your dreams.

So, my dear friends —
never let someone else’s assumption destroy your reality.

Believe in your work, your experience, and your instincts.
Because sometimes the real recession is not in the market —
it’s in our mind! 💭

And remember —
when you Ass-U-Me,
you might make a donkey out of you and me! 🫏
