🎬 Title: Don’t Assume What You Don’t Know — The Train Story 🚆

Friends, do you know what’s easy to do… but often very wrong?
It’s to assume.

Because when you Ass-U-Me,
👉 Ass means donkey 🫏
👉 U means you
👉 Me means me 😄
So, when we assume, we make a donkey out of you and me!

Today’s story is a touching example of how our assumptions can blind us from the truth.

🎬 THE STORY

Once upon a time, a passenger named Arun was traveling on a train.
He was sitting quietly, reading a book, when a young boy — around 20 years old — named Sagnik, came and sat opposite him, near the window.
Beside Sagnik sat his father, Sayan.

As the train started moving, Sagnik looked outside the window with excitement.
He smiled, his eyes wide with wonder, and shouted —
“Look, father! The trees are running opposite to us!” 🌳
“The sky is so blue and beautiful today!” ☁️
“Wow… the world is so amazing!” 🌍

He was filled with childlike joy — pointing at everything he saw.
Just like a small kid who’s seeing the world for the first time.

Arun kept watching him for a while.
He thought to himself —
“This boy is twenty years old… but behaving like a little child.”
He felt uncomfortable.
In his mind, he assumed that something was wrong with the boy.

Finally, he couldn’t stop himself.
He looked at Sagnik’s father and said softly,
“Sir, I hope you don’t mind… but maybe you should take your son to a good doctor.”

The father, Sayan, smiled calmly and said —
“Yes, I already did. And today, after 20 years… my son can finally see this beautiful world for the first time. He was blind since birth.”

Arun froze. His heart sank.
He realized his assumption had made him judge someone unfairly.
What he thought was immaturity…
was actually pure joy — of seeing light for the very first time. 🌅

🎯 THE LESSON — THE DANGER OF “ASSUME”

Arun assumed without knowing the truth.
He looked with his eyes, but not with his heart.

And that’s what most of us do, isn’t it?
We see someone’s behavior, words, or reaction — and we assume we know their story.
But behind every action, there’s a truth we can’t always see.

👉 That’s why when we Ass-U-Me,
we end up making a donkey 🫏 out of you and me!

KEY TAKEAWAYS

1️⃣ Don’t be quick to judge.
Everyone has a story you don’t know.

2️⃣ See beyond what’s visible.
Sometimes joy, silence, or anger — all hide deep emotions underneath.

3️⃣ Replace assumption with empathy.
Ask. Listen. Understand.

So, my dear friends —
the next time you see something unusual or unexpected,
don’t rush to assume.

Maybe… that person is fighting a battle you can’t even imagine.
Maybe… that moment is special in a way you can’t yet understand.

Because in the end —
when we Ass-U-Me,
we might make a donkey out of you and me! 😄

Stay tuned for the next story in our “21-Day Assume Series.”
Each story will help us see the world — not just with our eyes,
but with our understanding. 💫
